About the Project

VideOptimize is a research‑driven project developed at Gipsa‑Lab (UGA / Grenoble INP / CNRS). It provides automatic face blurring and vertical straightening for images and videos, using robust academic algorithms designed for privacy protection and visual correction.

Face blurring is available in three versions: a cloud‑based SaaS platform, a Canva App integrated directly into Canva, and a standalone Windows application.

Vertical straightening is available on the SaaS platform.

SaaS Platform

The online SaaS version lets you blur faces and correct verticals directly in your browser. All processing is performed securely on our university servers, ensuring data protection and GDPR compliance.

The Face Blurring Canva App allows you to anonymize faces directly inside your Canva designs. It is fully GDPR‑compliant and processes all media securely on our university infrastructure, without storing any personal data.
